The problem

You are brilliant at what you do. Hardly anyone outside your client list knows it.

You have spent years becoming genuinely good. The clients who work with you stay, refer you, rate you. And yet your growth still rests on word of mouth and the same handful of people who send you business.

Meanwhile you watch competitors with half your depth show up everywhere. Quoted. Invited. Interviewed. Introduced as the expert. You are the best-kept secret in your field, working hard in silence while less capable people take the rooms you should be in.

Maybe you started a podcast to fix exactly this. Then it stalled, because chasing good guests is a full-time job, and the guests who would actually move the needle never reply. So the show sits there, inconsistent and underwhelming, nothing like the authority engine you pictured. And when a competitor with half your track record announces the kind of guest you should be landing, it stings, because your show still does not reflect where you actually are.

The problem is not your ability. It is that no one has built you a system for visibility.

Why the usual routes fall short

More ads, more posting and a standard PR retainer will not fix this.

Paid ads

Running ads to a cold audience buys attention you have to keep paying for. The day you stop, the visibility stops with you.

More posting

Posting more on LinkedIn adds to the noise you are already lost in. Reach without borrowed authority is just shouting a little louder.

A standard PR agency

A standard PR agency sends you a list of podcasts and calls it outreach. They chase volume, not the right rooms, and hand you names you could have found yourself. No relationship, no judgement, no one keeping the pipeline moving the week you get busy.

Doing it yourself

Booking it yourself? The guests worth interviewing are asked constantly. Getting a yes from someone genuinely well known takes relationships, positioning and follow-through most founders do not have the hours to build.

What moves you from invisible to in-demand is access to people who already command an audience, brought onto your platform, again and again. That is a specific job. It is the only thing we do.

Our approach

Borrowed authority, booked for you, on repeat.

We do not sell exposure for its own sake. We sell access. Access to other people's audiences, to the credibility of a recognised name sitting across from you, and to the speed that comes from both. Here is how we create it.

1

The right guest, not just a guest

We do not chase numbers. We identify the specific people whose audience, authority and relevance actually lift your positioning with the buyers you want, then we go and get them.

2

Relationships, not directories

We have the relationships with the agents, managers and PRs who ignore cold outreach, so we get past the gatekeepers that stop most people. Every booking is done by hand, person to person. No automated matching, no generic blast lists. That is why we land guests you could not reach alone.

3

Momentum that does not depend on you

We source, qualify, schedule, prep and follow up, then review the pipeline with you every month. Your show keeps moving whether or not you have a spare hour this week.

How it works

From best-kept secret to a full guest pipeline, in four steps.

1

Strategy and positioning

We get clear on your goals, your audience and the kind of guests who raise your standing. We map the names worth pursuing for you specifically.

2

Sourcing and outreach

We approach guests directly, through real relationships and tailored, credible outreach. You see a shortlist of genuine opportunities, not a spreadsheet of maybes.

3

Booking, prep and logistics

We qualify, schedule and confirm. You get briefing notes and prep so you walk into every recording sounding like you belong there. On our higher tiers we handle studio logistics and any guest fee negotiation too.

4

Pipeline and review

Guests keep landing, episode after episode. We review the pipeline with you each month and keep the momentum building. Engagements run on a 12-week minimum, because authority compounds. One big guest is a moment. A consistent run of them is a reputation.

More than a booking

Booking guests is where most people stop. It is where we start.

Anyone can send an invite. The value is in everything around the recording: getting the guest ready, creating the room they open up in, and making the conversation work for you long after it ends.

Before

We prepare the guest, not just book them

We work with every guest behind the scenes, brief them properly and get them genuinely invested, so they arrive warm, relaxed and ready to give you their best, rather than turning up for a rushed favour.

During

We create the room they open up in

High-profile guests are used to guarded, on-message interviews. We set up the environment and the framing so they drop their guard and genuinely open up, which is how you capture the standout moments instead of a stiff question and answer.

After

We help you make it count

The recording is not the finish line. We help you turn one conversation into lasting reach, new relationships and content that keeps working for your brand long after the guest has left the room.

Case study: 12 opportunities in 7 days

This client had not even launched yet. No visibility in the market, no branding, no social channels, and a host who had not yet put his face to the podcast. On paper, every reason for a big guest to say no.

The real obstacle was trust: guests and their teams wanted to know who was behind the show. We handled that in credible conversations behind closed doors, and inside seven days had 12 interview opportunities, including guests with OBEs confirmed for the very first week.

If we can do that for a podcast with no name, no audience and no face to it, imagine what happens once you give us permission to sing it from the rooftops.

Apprentice winner and Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur of the Year
Over the past 10 years, I've done hundreds of talks, podcasts and bookings, and Hannah and the team at Sycamore Communications are among the best I've worked with. Their communication is fast, detailed and accurate, so I always feel well briefed going into a booking. They've consistently maximised my fee and respected my time. I'd happily work with them again.

Multi-award-winning, and known above all for one thing: consistent over-delivery.

Is this you?

This works brilliantly for some people. It is wrong for others. We would rather be straight with you.

This is for you if

  • You run an established service business, or you are a coach, consultant or expert with real traction and revenue.
  • You already have a podcast, or you are ready to launch one and commit to it every week.
  • You are confident on a microphone. Opinionated, happy to lead a conversation, with something worth saying.
  • You see your personal brand as an asset and you are ready to invest in it properly.

This is not for you if

  • ×You are pre-traction, still shaping your offer, or selling something low-ticket.
  • ×You want guaranteed virality or an overnight following. We build authority, not lottery tickets.
  • ×You are not ready to commit the time or budget to show up consistently.
  • ×You would rather stay behind the scenes than be the face of your business.

We would rather tell you now if it is not a fit than take you on and underdeliver. That honesty is a large part of why our clients stay.

Price in context

Just a podcast producer costs £3,000 to £4,000 a month.

That is the going rate for someone to source the kit, set up the studio and press record. It is the norm. And it buys none of the hard part: no guest bookings, no outreach, no admin, no follow-up. You pay premium money for the production, then still chase the guests yourself.

The usual setup
£3,000 to £4,000 / month
  • A producer to source kit and run the studio
  • No guest bookings
  • No outreach, prep or admin
  • You still land the guests yourself
With Sycamore
From £1,250 / month
  • The guest booking and the relationships
  • Prep, briefing and full pipeline management
  • The admin handled end to end
  • Studio logistics too, on our top tier
  • The part that actually builds your authority

The real question isn't whether you can afford this. It's why you would pay more for the kit than the conversations that grow your business.

Limited capacity

We are a senior team of two and we deliberately take on a limited number of clients at a time, because every pipeline is handled by hand, by us. When we are full, new clients join a waiting list. If growing your authority this quarter matters, the call is the place to start.

No long tie-in

There is no long tie-in beyond the initial 12 weeks, and if we do not believe we can deliver for you, we will say so on the first call rather than take you on.

Guest Booking (Build)from £1,250/mo

Sourcing, outreach, booking, qualification, scheduling, follow-up and a monthly pipeline review.

Guest Booking Plus (Build & Grow)from £1,750/mo

Everything in Build, plus targeted research, guest prioritisation, prep calls and briefing notes for harder-to-reach guests, and a monthly strategy review.

Full Service Launch Partnerfrom £2,500/mo

Everything in Grow, plus launch and positioning strategy, episode planning, studio logistics, guest fee negotiation and high-touch reporting.

Every engagement runs on a 12-week minimum. We will recommend the right level for you on the call.

FAQ

Questions founders ask us, and honest answers

Will this actually bring in business, or just exposure?
Both, in the right order. The immediate win is authority and audience. A recognised guest puts you in front of their followers and lends you their credibility. A booked guest is not a content win, it is a business-development asset: that credibility turns into conversations, partnerships, deals and clients. We are honest that we sell positioning and reach, the foundation that makes everything else easier to sell. If you want something that prints leads tomorrow, that is ads, and ads stop the day you stop paying.
I genuinely do not have time, even if you book the guests.
That is exactly who this is built for. We handle sourcing, outreach, qualifying, scheduling, follow-up and prep. Your only job is to turn up and host the conversation. On our higher tiers we also handle studio logistics and reporting, so the time you spend is the hour in the chair.
How do you decide which guests to go after?
We start from your goals and your audience, never a vanity list. We look for guests whose authority, relevance and following actually raise your standing with the people you want to reach, then we build the relationship to land them. It is judgement and graft, not an algorithm.
Why not just run ads instead?
You can, and many of our clients do both. The difference is ownership. Ads rent attention, and the moment the budget stops the visibility stops with it. Borrowed authority from the right guests builds a reputation that stays yours. The two work best together: ads for reach now, authority for trust that compounds.
How are you different from a standard PR agency?
Most PR agencies chase volume and hand you a list. We are relationship-led and selective, not a VA outreach service. Every booking is done by hand, through real relationships with the agents, managers and PRs who decide who gets a yes. No automated matching, no generic outreach, no directories. That is why we land guests others cannot, and why our clients stay long after the first booking.
Do I need to already have a podcast?
Ideally yes, and ideally one you publish consistently. If you are launching, our Full Service Launch Partner tier covers positioning, episode planning and studio logistics, so you start with the right guests from episode one.
Is there a guarantee?
We do not promise a specific outcome, because the people we book are real and their decisions are their own. What we offer instead is a track record. 300 plus guests booked, names like Joe Wicks and Davina McCall secured, and a habit of over-delivering that keeps clients with us for the long term. The 12-week minimum exists because authority compounds, and a single guest cannot do what a consistent run can.

You did the hard part. You became the expert. Now let the right people find out.
